Former President and CEO of WWF Philippines

As former president and CEO of WWF Philippines, Joel Palma provided organizational direction for both national and regional programs including the Coral Triangle Initiative. He also designed and implemented the integration and contribution to the achievement of WWF Global Network’s meta-goals. Prior to joining WWF, Joel was with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. In 2007, he was a Governance and Environmental Democracy fellow at Wolverhampton University as a Chevening scholar before being appointed vice president for Conservation Programs. Joel holds a BS in Fisheries degree from the University of the Philippines.
